SUB:- PUBLIC SERVICES - State and Subordinate Services - Preparation, Publication and maintenance of Seniority lists up-to-date - Instructions - Reiterated - Regarding.
REF:- 1) G.O.MS.NO.291, G.A.(SER.A) Deptt, dated 10-5-1984.
In the G.O. first cited, orders have been issued to the effect that all the appointing authorities should take prompt action for the preparation. publication and maintenance or seniority lists up to-date every year. on priority basis.
2. In the Memo second cited all the Departments of Secretariat were once again requested to bring the above instructions to the notice or all concerned and to ensure that the above instructions arc implemented scrupulously. without giving scope for complaints in this regard.
3. In the Andhra Pradesh Civil Services Joint Staff Council meeting held on 2-4-1993, the Staff side represented for issue of instructions for verification of seniority lists by the Heads of Departments during their inspections.
4. The Government have examined the same and direct that all the
heads of Departments should verify about the preparation, publication, and
maintenance of up-to-date seniority lists during their inspection of the unit
offices.
